Event evaluation

A key feature of our event management is evaluation. We have found imaginative ways to elicit feedback from event-goers – innovations at St Leonards Festival included a ‘Big Brother’ booth and transparent drawing tent created by artist Sally Booth reflecting images and written feedback comments. We take pride in reporting qualitatively and quantitatively to inform future direction.

We would be delighted to act as independent evaluator for your service, project or event.

Past project: Media Enterprise Centre, Hastings, evaluation, research and report (2011). We produced an online survey of Creative Industries in Hastings, identifying common themes for SPSS data entry. Interviews were conducted with members and organisations and findings collated in an independent evaluation report for Area Based Grant.
Client: University of Brighton.

Past project: Isle of Wight Learning through Island Events project. Quantitatively, this successful 4-year carnival learning programme already demonstrated wide uptake by the island community. As independent evaluators we visited carnival workshops, joined events and held in depth interviews with participants to write a qualitative report of the life-changing benefits of the programme.
Client: Isle of Wight Council (Arts Development).
