A brand new dance festival for Hastings, Bexhill and Rye
Journeys is a free, participatory dance experience over three days in a range of venues. Watch outstanding contemporary dance, learn something new and try out your dance moves to high quality live music under excellent instruction from some of the UK’s best dance tutors.
The Picnic by Etta Ermini: Saturday 23 August: Rye Station Car Park, 1pm (with a taster performance at Bexhill Station 12pm)
Jive Live:Sunday 24 August: Stade Open Space, Hastings, 1pm with the Jive Aces (as seen on Britain’s Got Talent), Cinque Ports Lindy Hoppers, the Wheelchair Dance Association Plus…wheelchair dance workshops and jive lessons. Come along and jive! Beginners welcome.
Tango Unlimited:Monday 25 August: De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill, 1pm with Ragroof Theatre, Corina Piatti Trio and Kiju Tango DJ
