This Guidance has been developed by the Children’s Services department, in partnership with educational experts, parents and careers, community groups and young people for the schools in East Sussex. It supports a preventative and whole-school approach to promote race equality.
It is important for all pupils in East Sussex to be aware of and appreciative of differences and similarities of race, culture and language. We want to ensure that all our children and young people understand their role in creating a society where everyone feels they belong and where they are equipped to succeed.
