Hailsham
At Springle Hailsham, Lampadophores, a spectacular outdoor procession by French street theatre company Picto Facto brought giant inflatable puppets, live music and acrobatic performance to transform Hailsham High Street into a playful, immersive celebration for all ages.

Uckfield
Springle Uckfield brought Luxford Field to life with a free family day of walkabout theatre, storytelling, music and creative workshops. Mahogany Carnival Arts came with bold parade energy, while Richard Storybeard shared magical tales inside his yurt and Ben Watson delivered lively children’s comedy in Mind the Monsters. Anusha Subramanyam of Beeja blended Indian storytelling and dance, Circo Rum Ba Ba’s stilt performers towered above the crowd and Dan the Hat kept audiences laughing with fast-paced juggling and tricks. The UK African Acrobats showcased extraordinary strength and skill, and Pongo the mischievous giant puppet roamed the field delighting families. The day ended with a joyful community parade where everyone was encouraged to take part.
